Default 250 versus 650

For anyone who owns one of these, I curious. I've been reading about them and it seems that a lot of people recommend the 650 over the 250. The argument for the 650 is that the 250 wouldn't satisfy a rider for very long and they would find themselves wanting to upgrade soon after buying it. Does anybody agree with this point of view? Or can a 250 be an enjoyable ride for a while?

Dude, if you buy into the hype that bigger is better maybe you won't be satisfied. It accelerates quicker than most the cars around you & you'll enjoy 70 or so mpg. The boys might ride you but that 650 will get 20 miles les out of each gallon & unless you really want to do 60mph wheelies who needs 60 hp to hall your butt up the road. Do you want to cruise over 75mph? Get the 650. Read my post on "Right bike for me".
