However, because I tend to forget, I would be pulling that trigger and look like a puffer fish more often.

I've seen this and I think it's kind of cool. I don't remember where I've seen this product, but it's really cool. Have to wonder how much something like this will cost.

I am not familiar with this so thanks for posting about it. They'll come up with just about anything nowadays won't they? lol It looks like a great idea but I also worry about the cost.

Wow, now that looks pretty cool. I would love to get one of those. I'm afraid I'd forget to pull it though and it wouldn't help me. Or I'd pull it when I wasn't supposed to and it would be a danger.

Could you imagine this going off at the wrong time! Only problem I see is that it only inflates if you actually leave the bike. It doesn't really work for a skid-type accident.

This is really a great idea and a wonderful idea, but being how self absorbed I am, I am worried about the style. Do they have anything like this but in leather jackets?

Hey everyone, I found some videos of this type of jacket and how it works. The first video is where a rider actually tests the jacket:

The second video is a news story from 2007 about a rider who survived a crash:

Those videos are cool. Thanks for posting them, Rider. I think it's a really cool idea and getting a visual helped understanding how it actually works.

Ouch! What a painful test. Thanks to the guy. Does the first video also tries to tell us how we should move or roll in a bike crash?

I've also seen these jackets tested on a motorcycle course where the rider is traveling at racing speeds and wipes out. The guy gets up and walks away like nothing happened.
