I know many riders who do not ride nearly as much since they now have a family. I doubt for most the bike is your main transportation either, so when are you riding and for how long? I am still slightly grumpy that I do not live somewhere I can ride during the winter months (avoiding snow and ice), but still I love my bike and I am not moving.

We already have a mortgage and I do not want to try and sell just so I can ride all year long (though some days the thought is tempting).

We have children and it is sometimes hard to find time to ride. Right now, with the husband working a lot it is even harder. We still ride several times a month and we don't have really bad weather during the winter months so it is usually the best season for us to get to ride.
