Default What kind of helmet do you have?

I'm curious to know what kind of helmet you have. I've seen some pretty cool ones out on the roads.

Do you go for full-face preotection? (This is what I have) or just the skull cap?

I'm all for protection, as much as I can get.

What about you?

I have a full face helmet. Scorpion "crack head" and an HJC that is black chrome. Used to have a Vemar VSR very nice helmet but allowed alot of wind noise while ridding.

I also have a full face helmet. Considering how many times I have got accidents riding a bike (LOL), now I put safety first. Then comes appearance.

The smaller helmets are nice because I feel like my vision is not impaired as badly as a full face but the protection is just not enough. I've used both and like both for different reasons.

I took a big bug in the face once while on the highway and tell ya what that little guy left a mark. Fullface helmets for this guy after that. Rain also not fun

Yuck on the bug incident! Lol. I haven't been there myself since I've always worn a full helmet, but I can imagine it would permanently turn someone off from skull caps.
