Sexy women and macho-looking bikes - Star Motorcycle forum: Yamaha Star Raider, V-Max, V-Star, Road-Star discussion forum

I am just curious about this. I browsed at the gallery and I noticed that in most pictures of the bikes, there are women (sexy women) sitting, reclining or touching the stationary bikes. Why are sexy women models often included in those pictures of macho-looking bikes? Wouldn't it be more appropriate to include macho-looking men riding or sitting on those bikes?

LOL... The bike and the woman represents masculinity and femininity respectively. Both complements each other to create an entertaining appearance. I bet you would prefer to see a sexy woman than a macho-looking man nearby a motorbike. Or am I wrong ?

As much as I like looking at sexy women, it kind of takes away from the bike in the advertisement. I never understood the combination, but maybe it's a yin/yang type thing.

Same deal for bikes as for cars, why do you think you see a ton of fast cars with hot little models around them? Sex sells and thats just how it goes. I would prefer to see anyone on bikes, big or small, so we could avoid the entire deal of "only little ladies ride bikes".
