Default How does your mom feel about motorcycles?

I have to say, my whole life, my mom has absolutely hated motorcycles. She worked as an LPN at a hospital and had seen her fair share of motorcycle accidents to cause her to hate him. I waited to get my first motorcycle til she passed away, not to disown her. I always take utmost care for safety and responsibility. How does your mom feel?

Well, my mom have no problem with motorcycles. In my location, due to the road condition, we commonly ride a motorbike than drive a car. Riding a bike, I even give her a lift sometimes and she is OK with it LOL.

My mother never liked them either but she still allowed me to ride dirt bikes as a teen (and pre teen), but it was not until after her passing that I started to ride again. It was partially out of respect and also at that time I was finally able to afford one that I liked.

My mom is not a fan of them, but I would guess a majority of mothers won't like them because there is a chance you could get hurt. More so than riding in a car. Moms will worry no matter what. It's there job!

Goodness, my mother HATES motorcycles. When I was a kid she used to call them "coffins on wheels." All my life I listened to her lectures about how dangerous they are, but first chance I had after I turned 18 I was on one! Lol.

Does your mom know you have one? My mom made it clear that if I were ever to get a motorcycle that she would have nothing to do with me. How does your mom feel now?

My dad has had motorcycles for years so my mom is used to them but she's not a big fan of them. She rarely rides with my dad anymore. I think she's just uncomfortable on the seat so she avoids it.

Top Gear - Yea, she knows, but she also knows she can't do anything about it. I don't talk about it much with her because I know it bothers her so much. Once in a blue moon she'll ask me something ridiculous like, "Why are you risking your life like this?" Then I end up giving her a lecture about being a safe, alert rider, but the bottom line is we will never see eye to eye.

Both my parents ride. My mom is the passenger and my dad drives. She was in a serious accident once and still rides. She has no problem with me riding, as long as I'm not drinking and riding.
