Default Dressing for the heat

I live in a ridiculously hot and humid part of the country and I'm wondering what the rest of you do in the heat. Obviously I would never be so crazy as to wear shorts, but I have been tempted a couple times, lol. Has anybody come across anything bike worthy that is comfortable in extreme heat?

In a quick answer, not really. I would never, never, never wear shorts though. It's too dangerous. I'd much rather be hot and sweaty (though it doesn't get too bad) then dead. My main problem is sweating under the helmet.

Shorts are a no no, and most anyone that sees you on a bike should understand this, better safe than sorry. Have you checked out any conventional suits? I know some have some odd reviews (depending on the bike you are riding), but it might be worth the time to check it out. I would rather be alive than dead anyday, how can you ride when your dead?

I always wear my jacket and at least, jeans, boots, gloves and helmet. Then again I am in the military and if I don't well lets just say I am not going to get caught without them. One thing I have found that helps is putting my camel pack under my jacket it actually does help keep me cooler.

I usually wear a long sleeved t-shirt or a denim jacket over my blouse. There is nothing to be done with the helmet that keeps the head sweating. Denim pants are great! As much as possible I prefer to wear rubber shoes rather than boots though.

I live in the South East and it gets ridiculously hot and humid here. I haven't found anything so far that is safe and comfortable.

Unless it is extremely hot, above 100 degrees, I have no problem with that I wear. The wind from riding cools me off extensively. I usually where, jeans, boots, and a t-shirt. Sometimes I will wear a jacket though.
