Default Do you wear a helmet?

Do you wear a helmet? Is it required in your state? If you do, what kind do you wear? I wear a full helmet. My son once learned the hard way the reason to wear a full helmet. Because it was too hot, he switched over to a 3/4 helmet got into an accident and busted his two upper teeth. Since I had purchased a full helmet for him, I made him pay for the dental work.

Always. And always a full helmet. I had an boyfriend one time who teased me about wanting to wear a full helmet and said if I insisted then I couldn't ride with him because I'd look silly. Needless to say, he is an ex. People who want to look cool or not put up with the heat will learn the hard way, like your son. Thank God is was just dental work he needed and not something much more serious.

Surely. It is required in my place. Above all, using the helmet is important to protect your head if something goes wrong when you are driving, like what happened to your son (sorry to hear about that). I always wear a full helmet. Even if I use 3/4 helmet, it wouldn't improve my appearance LOL.

Yes, it's required in NY State. Do you remember when Big Ben got into an accident a few years back without a helmet? I remember reading that it wasn't a law in PA to wear a helmet. I can't imagine not wearing one when riding.

Full helmet every time I ride. I won't ride without one. I don't want to chance a head injury. It can't protect me from everything, but it is much better than going without!
