Custom paint costs

I've been looking at pictures of some pretty cool custom paint jobs and I'm wondering if anybody has one or ever had one done and what the cost for something like that is. I'm sure it probably has a lot to do with how much detail is involved, but I'm just looking for a general idea.

Well it is hard to give you even a general idea when it comes to a custom paint job. If you paint a solid custom color that is one thing, if you go into custom graphics that is a completely different custom job. You could go from the low thousands to high double digit thousands depending on what you have done and who does it.

Thanks, LilBmama. The graphics are what I've been looking at, but I'm sure it's going to be waaaay too pricey. It's nice to dream once in a while though, lol.

For a car or a bike, pricey is what always tends to happen. I love the idea of a custom paint job but right now what I want and what I have are two different things, maybe one day if I am lucky though.

Yep, anytime. I'm really good at throwing in my two cents, whether someone wants it or not. LOL Graphics are pricey and only get worse. I think of them kinda like tatoos. You know how a tat the size of a quarter is around $100, the more color you add and the more detail you add, the higher the artist prices you right? Now take that quarter sized tat that you managed to ring up to $200 after your customizations and multiply that times the size of your bike, now double that. Ouch huh.
