That's a way bit faster than the 70-75 mph I am used to, and I won't like it if I am a rider to a bike that goes more than that with the bigger vehicles speeding around us.

Yes, I have to agree that getting passed can be scary. But going 80 miles per hour on a motorcycle you can get a lot more injuries if you hit another car in front of you or a hidden pot hole or even a piece of trash in the road. 70 is probably the max for me.

Its all about ridding at a speed that you are comfortable with. Everyone is different some people will not go past 60 and that is fine but for me I like to have the option to open it up a bit from time to time on the back roads.
