Default 1100 Custom after market seat

After about 40 minutes in the stock saddle of my '04 1100 Custom, my hiney starts getting pretty soar. Anyone got any suggestions about what options are available and how much it's going to cost to get something more comfortable?

I have heard nothing but good things about mustang seats. Only bad part is they are expensive. I guess there is one called the day tripper that is supposed to be awesome but i have not used it just what i have heard.

I totally agree the stock seats suck. I put a Mustang seat on about 400 miles after I got the bike. I can now cruise all day long without a sore hiney. Well worth the $400+ I spent on it. By the way was the first accessory I bought and would do it again.

I wonder why they almost always make the seats uncomfortable for long rides, when the bikes are designed and made for long rides. Is it because the after sales accessories add up to their sales and profits?

My dad had a bike when I was growing up and the seat was miserable to sit on. I didn't ride with him for long drives because of it. I hope you're able to find an option that is a bit more comfortable.
